Ambassador Deborah L. Birx, the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, was in ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ on Wednesday conferring with Gov. Tate Reeves and other state officials. While in the state, Dr. Birx reached out to ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ State University for a virtual review of COVID-19 protocols and to congratulate ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ for successfully managing the COVID-19 pandemic on campus and with the surrounding community.Ìý Birx offered ÌÒ»¨Ö±²¥ President Mark E. Keenum, Executive Vice President and Provost Dr. David Shaw and Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Regina Y. Hyatt advice on managing the pandemic moving forward.
